The Elmont School District’s Board of Education recognized students’ achievements and the charitable endeavors of students and staff members at its April 4 meeting at Stewart Manor School.
Stewart Manor School’s Student Council presented $1,650 to Strength for Life. The donation was half of the proceeds from the school’s Prediction Marathon. The other half of the money raised was donated to the American Cancer Society.
